Industrial analysis

The flow version of ELECTRONIC TONGUE has been applied for multicomponent analysis of absorbing fluid obtained after bubbling of flue gas from an incinerator. Multicomponent analysis of heavy metal content has been performed along with determination of some anionic species. The flow version of ELECTRONIC TONGUE is particularly promising for automatic and on-line industrial analysis. The work has been performed together with Danish colleagues from the Roskilde University (prof. John Mortensen).

Analysis of metals
Analysis of anions

Chalcogenide glass sensors, forming the basis of ELECTRONIC TONGUE are very useful in on-line industrial analysis. Concentration of copper has been monitored in the waste fluid purification tank for over one year without recalibration and maintenance of the sensor for over half a year.

Analysis of metals

Analysis of Zn and Cr in the galvanic industry.
